HFH Honduras: Strengthening governance

HFH HONDURAS: STRENGTHENING GOVERNANCE

Habitat for Humanity Honduras held its Ordinary Assembly on January 17, where the new 2026–2030 Strategic Plan was approved, and the Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 period was appointed.

This meeting marked a significant step in strengthening governance by integrating two new Assembly members into the Board of Directors, selected based on the specific profiles, capabilities, and skills required for these governing bodies.

The new Strategic Plan is built around four strategic pillars:

  • • Resilient Housing and Community (Construction)
    • Sustainable Water and Sanitation (WASH)
    • Rights that Build (Advocacy)
    • Homes and Hands that Transform (Volunteering)

Through these focus areas, the organization aims to impact 600,000 people by the end of 2030.
